Ahmadullah Shah (1787–5 June 1858) famous as Maulavi of Faizabad, famous freedom fighter and was a leader of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Being a practicing Muslim, he was also an epitome of religious unity and Ganga-Jamuna culture of Faizabad.
