Ghulam Azam (Bengali: গোলাম আযম ; 7 November 1922–23 October 2014) was aBangladeshi Islamist politician. He was the former leader of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, the largest Islamist political party in Bangladesh. He led the party until 2000.
