RAMALLAH, Palestine In 2015, the government officially adopted the bird as the “national bird” for the State of Palestine. An orange-tufted sunbird indigenous to the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa,the Palestine sunbird(Cinnyris Osea) is the only bird that carries Palestine's name.
