Nephology is the science of clouds, which is undertaken in the cloud physics branch of meteorology. The main representative cloud types for each of these forms are stratus, cirrus,stratocumulus, cumulus, and cumulonimbus. Low-level clouds do not have any altitude-related prefixes.
