Hakaluki Haor is located in the North-East of Bangladesh it belongs to two districts Moulvibazar (70% of the territory) and Sylhet (30% of the territory) under Sylhet division. Hakaluki Haor is one of the Ecologically Critical Area (ECA) which was once with plenty of aquatic resources including swamp forest.
