Tiber River,
Twisting in a generally southerly direction through a series of scenic gorges and broad valleys, the Tiber flows through the city ofRomeand enters the Tyrrhenian Sea of the Mediterranean near Ostia Antica. Its major tributaries are the Chiascio, Nestore, Paglia, Nera, and Aniene.
